Why suffer?

Why suffer?

When Christmas is approaching we tend to become more aware of human suffering and those in need.

Charitable organizations make sure they take advantage of these holidays to attract more support.  We people tend to be touched and positively respond to prompts of giving, as compassion is a deep routed human quality in most of us.

However it is not only the experience of compassion but the experience of our own suffering that gives us the understanding of how great the need is to alleviate suffering from anyone’s life – including our own.

We tend to consider suffering as part of human life, but the question is: Is it natural?  Is it really inevitable? Is it how things have always been and how things will always be?

Suffering does not just appear in our life for the sake of its existence.  It has been wisely orchestrated to give us signals that some things are not quite right in our life and that we need to address them, we need to do something about them.

Some can use the Law of Karma as an explanation as to why suffering exist.  However, even the acceptance of the laws of cause and effect is not enough to justify suffering.  If we could take suffering a step further, we could treat it as having the ultimate purpose of assist us to grow as individuals and move on, in our paths towards great levels of beingness and greater achievements.

If we consider suffering as a message that some things need to return to balance, we will strive to find those things in our life that are out of balance and do something to bring them back to balance.

Others can do only that much in facilitating us towards removing suffering from our lives – and this applies for us when we try and help others.

Is suffering a natural state of being of the soul? NO! Do we have to suffer? NO! Not really.

However, at the end of the day, we are the ones holding the answers and we are the ones that make the choices. So, the focus needs to be on choices that bring us happiness and not suffering.

The ultimate aim of ALL things we desire or strive for is happiness! Because happiness is a nature state of our soul. Happiness keeps us in alignment with who we are; in alignment with Spirit. Happiness keeps us in the Vortex.

That’s why, today and every day, choose happiness!

Have a lovely week

Testimonials

“For months I had been as if in a lift that would not take off. In Dina’s visit to Gaia center I saw an outstretched hand, a life jacket that was handed to me. This was a chance to heal that part of myself which was running in circles and was repeating old patterns. So, quickly I booked three sessions. I was excited by the thought to go through a catharsis, deep, purifying and rejuvenating.
