Is “the Matrix” a new concept?

I’m astonished when people talk about some concepts as if they have just recently discovered them, even though the knowledge of them has been known for centuries.  They use new words for it, slightly different description and interpretation but, they are still talking about the same thing.

One of these concepts is that of the Matrix.  The term was first used by Max Planck, the father of quantum theory, who shocked the world by saying that this “matrix” is where the birth of stars, the DNA of life, and everything between originates.  This matrix of energy provides the blueprint for our physical world.  Specifically he has said: “We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.”  That was in 1944.  So I guess in terms of science to finally discover what the saints knew forever, the concept is relatively new.

Since then there have be other scientists who brought forth proof that we live in an ocean of microscopic vibrations that give form, motion, and invisible connection to everything in the physical world also know as morphogenic fields.  Rupert Sheldrake, Bruce Lipton, Dawson Church, are some of those scientists supporting these views from the popular theory of quantum physics.

So either we are referring to The Field, the Unified Field, the Matrix, or Divine Matrix or Living Matrix, we are actually referring to the same thing.  Isn’t this interpretation however, the same with what we already knew in so many ancient spiritual manuscripts as Universal Consciousness, Universal Mind, God or Soul Consciousness?  In addition, this concept of “The Matrix” coincides with the definition of the Universal Akashic Records, or the Akash, or the Book of Life or Universal Library.  The difference is that, in one case we use terminology and vocabulary that comes more from the eastern cultures and spiritual philosophies and in the other we are using more westernised and scientific terminology and vocabulary.

Here is the definition of the Akashic Records: The word “akashic” derives from the sanskrit word “Akasha” which means “ether” or “boundless space” or “primary substance”.  These records are formed by the written journey of every individual soul since the beginning of this planet and are also known as the Book of Life or The Book of Remembrance.  Every thought, every word, every action of every individual and his interactions with the rest of the creation, throughout its many incarnations and sojourns on this planet are registered on these etheric pages.  It’s where one can find the past, present and future of every living being.

The Akashic Records have been compared with the world wide web and the countless of individual websites.  The Akashic Records are not actual books or scrolls -though many people see them as such when they access them – but they are actually an energetic vibration, with millions of energetic imprints.  It is this energy vibration that translates into images, forms, symbols, imagery, and language that the mind can understand.

In other words, either we call it Matrix or we call it Akashic Records, it is now more and more accepted that we are living in an energy field, that holds information about us and everything in this world, as energetic imprints which we can consciously or subconsciously access, interact, create or change.  I believe there are many fields within fields or many matrices within matrices.  There is the Universal Matrix or the Universal Akashic Records, the Planetary Matrix, or Planetary Akashic Records and the individual Matrix or individual Akashic Records – you may use whichever term feels right for you, as both terms refer to the same thing. But even an individual’s matrix has more fields within it such as the morphic fields of our body’s cells and parts, our meridian system, chakra system, aura system and few other not so known fields.

The question here is, not what we call these fields but, how we can use the knowledge of them so we can master those fields, command them with our conscious minds, create desirable energetic imprints and habits, so we can achieve greater health, wellbeing and happiness.  To be able to achieve this we first need to know how to access those fields, how to access the Matrix and master the art of interpreting its messages and decode its information.  I feel that accessing, interpreting and mastering the matrix are the processes that can lead us towards self and world transformation and progress. Because of this it’s definitely worth learning how to do it!
